A bit of history about Bedlington Terriers: |
Bedlingtons originated near Bedlington, England. They can be traced back to the 18th century. The breed was developed to "go to ground" and to "run it down" They were used in coal mines to remove rats and other varmints. Their form and agile bodies show that they were built for speed. Their bodies are similar to a Whippitt's, and in England, they groom the body very short all over. |

Ch.Valgo's Rae of NXS |
Bedlingtons make great family dogs.
They don't shed much and are non-allergenic.
They have natural roches on their backs - just one
smooth curve line.
One interesting feature is that they see from the side. |
